Inlay
If the tooth substance has been damaged by caries, the tooth is given an inlay to preserve the tooth substance and restore the function of the tooth. Inlay fillings are made of gold or ceramics, produced in the laboratory. They can be fitted very precisely within the tooth. They are extremely resilient, are characterised by their longevity and hardly trigger allergic reactions.
Veneers
Veneers are wafer-thin covers made of special ceramics with which an optimal cosmetic and natural appearance can be achieved by maximum retention of the tooth structure. The veneers are attached to the tooth surface with a special adhesive and thereby improve the aesthetics.
Partial crown
Partial crowns only make up part of the clinical crown. This form of care can always be applied when parts of the crown are healthy and need not be removed. Partial crowns out of ceramics fit in particularly well in the overall picture and can hardly be distinguished from natural teeth.
Crown
A crown is necessary if the tooth is largely destroyed, but the tooth root is considered worthy of preservation. The dental crown is artificially covered with a crown. A crown can also be attached onto an implant. For this purpose, the following materials are available:
All-ceramics
All-ceramic crowns are metal-free. They can hardly be distinguished from the original teeth.
The result is of highest aesthetic standards and biocompatible.
Veneer crowns
The structure of the crown consists of metal and is veneered with a tooth-coloured ceramic material.
All-cast crowns
The entire crown consists of a metal alloy.
Due to aesthetic reasons, they are used only to a very limited extent.
Bridge
When one or more teeth have been lost, the gaps are closed again to preserve the chewing function and to prevent the adjacent teeth from leaning into them. The teeth on either side of the bridge serve as bridge abutments. The following materials are available for this purpose: all-ceramics, veneering ceramics, all-cast.
Adhesive bridge
An adhesive bridge is a fixed bridge that is attached to the anchor teeth by means of adhesive techniques via impellers. It is gentle on the anchor teeth, which are not heavily ground or capped, as in the case of the bridge. The anchor teeth are only scaled down by the very thin layer thickness of the impeller. Such a provision is not suitable for every patient and in every situation.

Protheses
If you no longer have any natural teeth, you will need a complete denture. A complete denture is the replacement of natural teeth when all of the teeth in the mouth have been lost. With a complete denture, the aesthetics, chewing and speech function can be optimally restored.
